How the fund works

One cohort. One pooled check.

1

Investors join the fund

Alaskans pool in — about $5,000 each — to invest together as a cohort.

2

Five weeks of education

The cohort trains alongside experienced angels in how to evaluate and back startups.

3

Founders pitch

Selected Alaska startups pitch the cohort live, in front of investors and the community.

4

One pooled check

The group awards a single investment — typically around $100,000 — to a standout startup.

Winning the Alaska Angel Conference is both humbling and affirming. This investment reinforces that there's demand for thoughtfully designed, functional apparel built by and for people who live full, active lives.
